Bronte has a surf beach patrolled by council lifeguards 7 days a week and Volunteer Lifesavers on the weekend. The park which backs onto the beach is perfect for barbeques with picnic huts and barbeque facilities. Set upon a slopping enclave, the majority of properties have spectacular water and beach views. The area is surrounded by beautiful parklands, cafes, restaurants and shops. Bronte offers scenic cliff-top walking paths south to Coogee via the Waverley Cemetery and North to Tamarama and Bondi Beach. The cliff-top path offers views which extend from Ben Buckler in the North and to Malabar in the South. Transport is very convenient, the 378 bus runs from Bronte beach, into Bondi Junction for trains and further on into the city.
